My company, Financial Aid Services, is a consulting/staffing firm serving the financial offices from large universities to small colleges. Over the course of the last two years, we have wanted to enhance our image, but we did not have the expertise or time. Then we met Randy, at Wootton Marketing Associates, and the rest is history.
After several meetings with his Strategic Partners, we had a Strategic and Tactical Communications Plan. We chose to develop our sales material first, because of our national scope and we needed simplified, integrated information on our services presented in a professional manner that reflected the quality of our work.
Next, we updated our Web Pages to be both informational and functional while improving navigation. Upon the advice of Randy and his Strategic Partners, we made the content similar to the sales material in look and tone, so it reinforced our Brand Awareness and simplified the messaging according to priority.
Furthermore it simplified interoffice communications and will potentially save money by using the Web, rather than paper as a way of providing information.
The marketing materials and web pages with the new graphics (including an updated, but conservative logo), received rave reviews from our clients and our staff. We have also revised our display materials in the same manner.
Finally, I wish to applaud the Firm and their Strategic Partners. They are creative, insightful, cooperative, patient, and have the highest integrity. It was a pleasure to work with them.

My Firm is among the top 25 accounting and tax firms in the annual Atlanta Business Chronicle’s list of leading Atlanta firms. We have a solid base of clients, both national and international and an active, firm-wide, business development program. Yet we were missing out on business opportunities because of low Brand Awareness in our Market Area and often our clients forgot – or were unaware of – the other services we offer.
We needed an intensive Media Communications and Public Relations program. Randy’s Firm along with his Strategic Partners helped us to achieve these goals. Within 3 months of taking on the assignment, they produced an annual Strategic & Tactical Communications Plan, cleaned up our “messaging’ to focus on our differences vs. competition and secured a commitment for a “cover” and an article for CPA Magazine.
Since then, we have been recognized and featured in targeted industries where we do business by means of articles and magazine “covers.” Our web page has been updated with better, but appropriate graphics, navigation and an active client relations/awareness program.

When Randy & I met, we uncovered several business needs that needed to be to be handled expeditiously.
My family-owned company has been in the Atlanta Market for nearly 100 years. During that time, our market share for high quality, precise plumbing rose to about 80% of all the local hospitals, medical buildings, and research facilities. We also had a major share of these types of institutions around the state.
When the market began to rebound after another dismal, slow period, we needed to alert our customers that we were prepared to handle the increased business in the same highly personal manner as before. We recently heard that, because of our personalization, they did not know how large we were and that we had expanded into new office & warehouse facilities as well as significantly expanded our staff.
Randy and his Strategic Partner conceived of and implemented a simple solution showing a picture of our new warehouse with the recently promoted and new plumbers on one side and with their impressive, one-line bio’s on the other. When we mailed the 5x7 card, our customers and prospects could instantly see we were ready for their needs. We heard that it helped answer their concerns and business responded.
Additionally, WMA prepared professional invitations (rather than letter paper ones) to the Christmas party in order to off-set declining attendees. It worked. Also, they designed a good looking pocket-sized brochure highlighting our warehouse & services. In the future, we plan to upgrade our web pagers to do a better job of supporting and cross-selling all services.
Finally, we enjoyed our working relation ships with Randy and his Strategic partners and look forward to continuing the relationship.
